ABOUT

The street has been the theme of my work since 1999. Pictures have been created, whereby the surfaces have been treated with genuine asphalt, and portray original street markings. The street has been transferred from the horizontal to the vertical position. These works have taken the street theme from the diversity of the numerous signs and markings which can be found on and in streets in different countries – from advertisements to political slogans, but also objects which have been lost, thrown away or simply left behind!
